Project Description
Dr. Nicholas Allan is looking for undergraduate research assistants interested in gaining experience in mental health research. Dr. Allan’s lab will be conducting in-person and virtual research on clinical interventions. The lab is conducting research trials on interventions targeting emotional distress and other related conditions in a wide variety of populations. We are looking to recruit highly motivated, detail-oriented undergraduates to work 6-10 hours per week in various tasks related to our research, including screening participants for eligibility, assisting with recruitment efforts, contacting participants, coding intervention sessions for fidelity, assisting with data processing, and other study related tasks. Students will be expected to attend a weekly staff meeting virtually. This position supports research in clinical psychology. Students interested in gaining undergraduate research credit desired but not required. This is an excellent experience for students interested in pursuing post-baccalaureate education.
