Funding to support undergraduate research is available through various areas of Ohio State. Each award has its own requirements including specifics on what the funds can be used for. Deadlines vary, but most awards require an application be submitted far in advance of when the student will need the funds. Be sure to thoroughly read all the information that is provided by each funding sources.
Please note: UR&CI does not currently fund conference travel. We recommend asking your mentor or department if they have discretionary funds that can be awarded for student researchers to travel to conferences.
This is not an exhaustive list of every funding opportunity. We encourage all students to discuss funding sources with their faculty mentor, peers and other connections that they may have through their research to learn about other opportunities that the UR&CI may not be aware of.
