Project Description
Dr. Jessica Turner and Dr. Melanie Bozzay are seeking 6 highly motivated research assistants to volunteer with their project- ARTEMIS. This study aims to better understand how people experience distress, mental health symptoms, and suicide risk in their daily lives.

Research assistants will aid in online participant recruitment, administering baseline assessments, and collecting and monitoring Ecological Momentary Assessment and phone sensor data. Course credit for independent study may be available upon discussion with the faculty and with a 10 hours/week time commitment.
Additional Information
Applications will be reviewed immediately on a first-come, first-serve basis. Qualified candidates will be scheduled for a virtual interview.

Time commitment: 6-10 hours/week, 2-4 semesters (estimate)

Required or Desired Skills
Required Qualifications:
1. Minimum undergraduate GPA = 3.5 or above
2. Proficiency with Microsoft software (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel)
3. An interest in studying suicide risk and reduction.
4. Experience in customer service and communication
5. Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
6. Reliable transportation to both research sites (921 Chatham Lane, 1960 Kenny Rd)

Desired Qualifications:
1. An interest in obtaining research experience to prepare for applying to graduate school in the future, particularly Ph.D. programs in clinical psychology, clinical neuropsychology, neuroscience and public health, or medical school.
