Project Description
The Bozzay lab is seeking 4 highly motivated research assistants to volunteer with one of our current research studies. The study aims to better understand how people experience distress, mental health symptoms, and suicide risk in their daily lives. Research assistants will assist in online participant recruitment, administering baseline assessments, and collecting and monitoring Ecological Momentary Assessment and phone sensor data (data collected via the mobile phone). This position offers valuable training in clinical research methods, data management, human subjects protection, and professional development for students interested in post-undergraduate education in psychology, medicine, and public health.
Additional Information

Required or Desired Skills
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum undergraduate GPA = 3.5 or above
- Proficiency with Microsoft software (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel)
- An interest in studying suicide risk and reduction.
- Reliable transportation to the research lab (1960 Kenny Rd)
Desired Qualifications:
- An interest in obtaining research experience to prepare for applying to graduate school in the future, particularly Ph.D. programs in clinical psychology, clinical neuropsychology, public health, or medical school.
- Graduating in 2027 or 2028 (Sophomores and Juniors in Fall 2025)
