Job Title:
Undergraduate Student Research Assistant- Pharmacy Education
Department:
Pharmacy | Education and Innovation-JM
Dr. Nicholas Denton of College of Pharmacy is looking for an undergraduate research assistant to help investigate areas in pharmacy education and innovation. Potential projects may include assessing the impact of Pelotonia community engagement on learning cancer innovations, surveying pharmacist perceptions on chronic opioid use after simulated patient interactions, and/or evaluating novel learning pedagogies on student persistence in the sciences. Other projects and independent study may also become available.
Undergraduate research assistant duties may include data entry, survey/assessment design, statistical analysis and graphing, literature review, data presentation, and grant/manuscript writing. Research assistants are expected to work remotely for 5-10 hours/week, flexible to the assistant’s schedule.

Additional Information
Research assistants can expect: options for PHR4998 credits for research distinction on your degree and/or $14.00/hour base pay for up to 400 hours over the 2025-2026 academic year (with the option to start summer 2025), training on any skills necessary to succeed in the position, weekly/monthly as needed check-ins, opportunities for presentation/awards/publication, and the satisfaction of advancing the cutting-edge of pharmacy education and innovation.
