Project Description
The Psychophysiology and Neuroscience Applied to Media Lab (PANAM Lab) collects data like heart rate, skin conductance, facial muscle activity, and eye tracking from human participants while they interact with everyday media messages: popular music, advertising, movies, YouTube, and games. The goal is to better understand how the human brain and media dynamically interact to change how we think and feel. Students working in the lab will assist Dr. Potter with all aspects of research: study design, literature review, data collection, data analysis, and result presentation.
