Applications for the 30th annual Denman Undergraduate Research Forum and the 2025 Undergraduate Research Apprenticeship Program (URAP) cohort are now open.
The Denman Undergraduate Research Forum provides an opportunity for graduating student researchers to share their research with the university community. The event will take place on March 4 at the Ohio Union. The application will be open until February 2 at 11:59 p.m.
Student researchers also have the opportunity to apply for the Undergraduate Research Apprenticeship Program (URAP). The program assists students in any major or research area with financial needs while being involved in an undergraduate research project. URAP is a competitive program and funds approximately 60 students each year.
The 2025 URAP application will require a personal statement, project overview, timeline, and advising report. UR&CI staff will reach out to your faculty mentor for a letter of recommendation once your application has been submitted. Applications are considered on a rolling basis and applying early is highly encouraged. Priority deadline for best chances of being considered is February 16 at 11:59 p.m., but applications will be open until March 2 at 11:59 p.m.
