The 5th Sports Analytics Conference is hosted by the Sports and Society Initiative and the Sports Analytics Association at Ohio State University.
This conference is a two-day event that will highlight the latest trends in sports analytics, showcasing presentations from student researchers and industry professionals. On March 28, the event will take place virtually with keynote speakers like Ben Alamar, former Director of Sports Analytics at ESPN, and Madeleine Want, VP Data at Fanatics Betting & Gaming. March 29 will bring the conference in-person at Ohio State’s Mason Hall Rotunda, featuring live panels on eSports, fan experience analytics, and more, along with presentations from major sports organizations such as the Cleveland Cavaliers, Chicago Cubs, and Houston Rockets.
