Project Description
Drs. Nicholas Allan and Melanie Bozzay and other researchers from the Risk and Resilience division in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health are looking for undergraduate research assistants interested in gaining research in mental health. Researchers will be conducting in-person and virtual research on clinical interventions. Labs in this division are conducting research trials on interventions targeting emotional distress, trauma, and other related conditions in a wide variety of populations. We are looking to recruit highly motivated, detail-oriented undergraduates to work 6-10 hours per week in various tasks related to our research, including screening participants for eligibility, assisting with recruitment efforts, contacting participants, coding intervention sessions for fidelity, assisting with data processing, monitoring data collected via mobile applications and behavioral tasks, as well as other study related tasks. Students will be expected to attend a weekly staff meeting virtually and to be able to work on site most days. This position supports research in clinical psychology. Students interested in gaining undergraduate research credit desired, but not required. This is an excellent experience for students interested in pursuing post-baccalaureate education.
