Project Description
This project aims to discover how lifelong exposure to different acoustic environments affects the mate location abilities of field crickets. Students will be involved with the running of experiments or remote data analysis. Students involved with in-person research will be able to run experiments in the lab and be responsible for some animal maintenance. Data analysis consists of using online software to analyze cricket songs and behavioral trials.

Required or Desired Skills
Ability to work with and handle live insects
Basic familiarity with Excel
Time management skills and availability
Interest in animal behavior is encouraged!
