Dr. Lorraine Silver Wallace
Dr. Wallace is an Associate Professor in the College of Medicine (Department of Biomedical Education). She also holds adjunct appointments in the Colleges of Public Health and Education and Human Ecology. In addition to directing the Office of Undergrad Research & Creative Inquiry, she teaches courses, supervises undergraduate, graduate, and medical students, conducts research, and obtains research grants. She was a Fulbright Scholar in the Republic of Moldova in 2009-2010. She received her BS from Rutgers University, her MS from Ball State University, and her PhD from The Ohio State University.
Amanda joined the URO in January 2014 after graduating from Ohio State with a BS in Human Ecology. She supports the URO’s programs and events, represents the office around campus, coordinates SURI, and supervises the student assistants. Amanda participated in undergraduate research in the Movement Analysis and Performance Lab in Martha Morehouse.
David O. Barnes
David joined the URO in December 2016. He holds an M.Ed. in Counseling & Personnel Services from the University of Maryland College Park, and a B.A. in Strategic Communication from The Ohio State University. David has previously served as Resident Director at Oberlin College, Retention Specialist at the University of Akron, and Program Coordinator of the Young Scholars Program at The Ohio State University. David currently coordinates the planning of events for the Undergraduate Research Office, including The Richard J. and Martha D. Denman Undergraduate Research Forum and the Summer Undergraduate Research Institute. His interests include college student success, music, and health & wellness.
